Aims & scope
Aquatic Biosystems is an open access, peer-reviewed, online journal considering high quality manuscripts on all aspects of basic and applied research on aquatic organisms and environments.
No publication cost for articles submitted before 1st June 2012
To celebrate the re-launch of Aquatic Biosystems there is no author publication charge on manuscripts submitted between 1st March and 1st June 2012.

Saline Systems
In January 2012 the journal's name changed to Aquatic Biosystems from Saline Systems. The new title incorporates an expanded scope and Editorial Board to cover all aspects of basic and applied research on aquatic organisms and environments, including both freshwater and saline systems. Aquatic Biosystems is a continuation of Saline Systems and the journal's previous content can all be found on the website here.
